Wade S.C. Newell is a Member in the Audit Department of Suttle & Stalnaker, PLLC. Wade will be responsible for supervising staff assigned during the course of the engagement and executing the engagement plan. Wade specializes in Not-for-Profit and Employee Benefit Plan Audits and has experience in performing audits in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and meets the requirements of the Uniform Guidance.

Wade graduated from Marshall University with a BBA degree with an emphasis in Accounting. Wade has also received his Nonprofit Certification through the AICPA.

Wade began his career in industry spending over a decade working as a Controller and CFO. Wade then transitioned to public accounting and has over twenty-three years experience in providing auditing services to Not-for-Profit entities, Benefit Plans, and For-Profit Manufacturing entities. Wade has also taught courses at the Marshall Community and Technical College and the Huntington Junior College of Business.

Wade is involved in the following Professional or Civic Associations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA); West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA), Huntington Chapter (Past-President); Ronald McDonald House of the Tri-State, (Past-President, former Board Member, and Treasurer. Wade also serves as a Trustee and Treasurer at his church.
