Robert (Bob) is the Managing Member – Emeritus of Suttle & Stalnaker, PLLC. Bob has previously served in various capacities at S&S, including, Managing Member, Director of the Tax, Director of Small Business and Director of Technology. Bob’s additional current responsibilities include consulting with individual and business clients in various financial areas such as tax, retirement and estate planning, business succession and valuation issues, and business strategic planning. He has over 35 years of experience in private and public accounting.

Bob has completed extensive training and testing administered by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst. The CVA designation indicates that an individual has attained a level of knowledge in business valuations that NACVA considers exemplary and worthy of recognition. Since 1995, the date he was certified, Bob has advised and consulted on values of businesses, in addition to preparing formal business valuation reports.

Bob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Charleston and is a member of the following professional organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) — AICPA Technology Section — AICPA Tax Section — AICPA Business Valuation and Forensic & Litigation Services Section; West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA); WVSCPA Charleston Chapter; National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
