Sarah Henderson is a tax manager at Suttle & Stalnaker, PLLC and has been in public accounting since 2017. She is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, as well as providing tax planning and consulting services.

Sarah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Charleston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Sarah is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She received the 2018 Elijah Watt Sells Award issued by the AICPA. To qualify for the award, CPA candidates must obtain a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the CPA exam and pass all four sections on their first attempt. She also received the 2018 Merit Award from the WVSCPA. The Merit Award is given to the individual who, on their first sitting for each of the four parts of the CPA exam, makes the highest average passing score on all parts, passes all four parts within 12 months, and lives or works in West Virginia.

Sarah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA), and the Charleston Chapter of the WVSCPA. She is also a member of the Leadership Kanawha Valley Class of 2022-2023, WELD – Women for Economic and Leadership Development, and the Awards Committee of the WVSCPA.
