Elaine Dougherty is a tax member with Suttle & Stalnaker, PLLC. In this role Elaine is responsible for supervising and reviewing tax returns as well as providing consultation and planning for individual and business taxes. Elaine specializes in tax preparation and trust and estate planning. Elaine has over 40 years of experience in public accounting and serves clients for all their tax and consulting needs. 

As a cum laude graduate of West Virginia University, Elaine received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting.

Elaine is a member of the following professional organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants; Central Chapter of the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants; and the North Central West Virginia Estate Planning Council. She is a graduate of Leadership Monongalia, class of 2012.

Elaine is also actively involved in her community serving as the treasurer of the Suncrest United Methodist Church Trustees. Additionally, she also serves as an outside accounting advisor to the Mountain Stewardship and Outdoor Leadership School, which is a non-profit in the Morgantown area.
