Horace Emery is an audit and consulting Member of Suttle & Stalnaker, PLLC. Horace began his career in public accounting in 1979 and continues to specialize in providing technical assistance on accounting and auditing engagements.
He has diversified experience in public accounting with the firms of Suttle & Stalnaker, PLLC and Peat, Marwick, Main & Co. His extensive experience includes audits of nonprofit, governmental, and healthcare entities; audits of retail, wholesale, and manufacturing companies; reviews of accounting systems; and reviews of internal controls.
Horace has written various articles over the years to address changes in professional standards. He has also planned local office professional development training programs for several years and has instructed numerous technical seminars.
Horace received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College and a Master of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Accounting from West Virginia University.
